Welcome to the Library IT Conference website. Our mission is to provide a centralized platform for library IT professionals to connect, learn, and grow. The website address is: libraryit.ca.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the information provided in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to assist with spam detection.
If you choose to use a Gravatar profile, an anonymized string (hash) of your email address may be shared with the Gravatar service to determine if your profile is active. The Gravatar privacy policy can be found here. Once your comment is approved, your Gravatar profile picture may appear publicly in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the site, we recommend avoiding files that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site may download and extract location data from images uploaded publicly.

•Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely to recognize and approve follow-up comments more efficiently.
•For registered users, personal information is stored in user profiles. You can view, edit, or delete this information at any time, except for usernames. Administrators can also access and edit this information.
Your Data Rights
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request an exported file of your data or request that we erase personal data we hold about you. This excludes data retained for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor comments may be reviewed through an automated spam detection service to ensure site integrity and user experience.
